Bio

I am a Bengali, born and raised in Kolkata, also known as the City of Joy! After completing M.Sc. in Biotechnology, I decided to pursue my PhD training in the Biomedical Sciences at the University of Iowa. Having an interest in Cancer research and Epigenetics, I joined the Tanas Lab where I am currently studying the ATAC complex in Sarcomas. My other interests include reading about History and Politics of India and the world. I have been involved in several social welfare activities over the years, and I intend to expand our organisation's work on child education in the upcoming years.
